Come help us celebrate the 200th year since Scottsville was incorporated as a town! A full, fun day of all sorts of activities starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, and the Farmers Market is the perfect place to begin. The Lions Club will be selling tickets to the annual Duck Derby, Elizabeth “Betsy” Samuels will be signing her book “Along for the Ride,” a humorous look at growing up on the Foxfire Christmas Tree Farm, and our local farmers will be selling their late summer harvest bounty.
