What can I sell?
Our vendors bring a wide array of goods to the market, from the bounty of the earth – vegetables, fruits, herbs, and plants – to handmade delights like jewelry, soaps, and crafts. We also welcome fresh honey, farm-fresh eggs, vinegars, clothing, meats, breads, woodcrafts, and more.
In addition to these offerings, we encourage non-profit organizations to join us with educational materials, and we are always excited to include entertainers who can add to the vibrant atmosphere of the market.
Please note that we are a producer-only market, and all finished goods and produce sold must originate from Albemarle County or its adjacent counties: Louisa, Fluvanna, Buckingham, Nelson, Augusta, Rockingham, Greene, and Orange.
What are the Market Fees?
The 2024 Season fees are:
- Side Bay: $300.00 per season or $20.00 weekly as available (12x12ft); vehicle accessible, with direct access to electricity
- Middle Isle: $250.00 per season or $20.00 weekly as available (12x12ft)
- 12×12 Tent Space: $200.00 per season or $20.00 weekly as available
- Larger tents may incur additional fees.
Vendors have the option to share any of the bays, with any arrangements regarding pricing, dates, and times being made at the vendors’ discretion. The Market will not be involved in these arrangements.
Payment can be made at the Scottsville town office or directly to the Market Manager in person. Please note that bays are not “reserved” unless paid for in-full for the entire market season, and will be assigned at the discretion of the Market Manager.
